From the sales proceeds, Jack Dorsey will receive 95% of the sales value. While Cent gets 5%.
Cameron Hejazi says his platform allows people to show support on tweets that goes beyond liking, commenting and retweeting. He also said that inherently, this asset is valuable.
“These assets may go up in value, down in value, but what remains is the ledger and history of ‘I bought this from you at this moment’ and this will happen to buyers, sellers and public memory,” he said.
The sale of his first tweet was announced by Jack Dorsey on March 6. He is known to be a Bitcoin fan and at that time linked the page where the NFT was listed for sale.
Three days later, he again posted a tweet that would change the value of the Bitcoin auction and intend to donate it to communities affected by Covid-19 in Africa.
For information, NFT is the choice of collectors to collect digital assets. In this way there will be a digital signature using blockchain technology that will prove the ownership and authenticity of the object.
